With the Anna Sui Cosmetics event I talked about yesterday, the bloggers who attended were handed a pretty little goodie bag.
I say pretty because the bag we were handed was one of the prettiest goodie bags I have seen.
Again, I am posting the goodie bag entry seperate from the event because there were too many photos on the event entry. Plus I probably would be typing in primary school english if I were to continue that entry. My eyes were almost shutting while I was proof-reading it.
if you haven't read about the Anna Sui Cosmetics event, you can read about it here.

So, it's early (well, rather...) in the day and I am wide awake right now so here's the goodie bag:

The packaging for everything is just gorgeous. The focus on packaging definitely translates across it all.
Here is a breakdown of what was uncovered from the purple wrapping.

Nail polish in 902 (left) and 205 (right).
I have swatched these very roughly on my toes and found the polishes to be quite sheer. They are a little runny so I guess it's a plus (because it's easy to apply) and minus (because runny usually equals sheer).

Protective Powder Foundation in Shade 02
They handed us all the 02 shade which I suppose they felt was the most universal. Thankfully for me it was a good match to my skintone though for some girls like Christy and I think Chantana, it might be a bit dark. What we received is the refill pack where the product pan is housed in a plastic case. I do feel quite tempted to go to the counter and buy the proper compact case just so the powder has a nice home, though the plastic case is quite cute albeit flimsy.
And have I mention that their foundation powder smells of roses too? :D
Chantana and I were super excited when we discovered we where given one of these:

Mini Rouge or known as lipgloss in a pot in my previous entry.
Apparently the flower embossing details don't photograph too well, but the top is in the design of a rose.
This was the shade I got:

Shade 700. I think that they shuffled the shades around a little so not everyone got the same color.
This little bugger is currently dangling on my phone along-side Jack Skellington. Don't know if I'll keep it there for long since I do can get rough with my phone and ornaments do get jammed between all the other rubbish in my bag, so we'll see. But I like the convenience of a little mirror and the fact that you can do a quick touch up wherever so long as you have your phone.
Speaking of lips, we were also given an unreleased lipstick, the Lip Rouge V

The packaging is so exquisite!
I think this line would be released sometime in Summer this year? I can't be totally sure, but it's soon.
And for this, know that we were all given different shades, the one I got (as you can already guess) is a shade I don't wear often, or at all.

Shade 461. Mag says this is a super gorgeous berry shade. I say, wow...
We could contact Lawrence to swap the shade if we didn't like it.. but oh well, I figured this could be a push factor to get me started with darker lip colors.
Next item I unraveled was this pretty plastic case, which does not photograph too well either.
What exactly is that.... ?

Turns out it's a gorgeous plastic case to house the Oil Blotting Paper. How chic!
Here's how the oil blotting paper looks, it's a pretty periwinkle shade.

It dos not show up in the photo but there are little I think butterfly designs on the blotting paper itself. How adorable is that.
I haven't tried this out yet so I can't comment on the absorbancy.
I think I'll simply be lugging the oil blotting pack around. I'll keep the case at home to house some other things. According to Christy, her friend brought the case out and accidentally cracked it. I definitely would not want that to happen.
Last but surely not least, we were given a little makeup pouch and I had no idea there were little goodies stuffed in there.

Nail stickers, nail file and toe seperator, along with a cute bag.
I gave the nail file and toe seperator to my mom since I don't paint my toes as frequently as she does.
As for the stickers I thought we were given one 'page' of design, however when i opened it up I was surprised to find two!
There are also instructions given on how to use these:
So that is all the lovely items from the goodie bag. It was a rather generous assortment of items seeing as this was not a specific product launch but just a introduction and swatch-about.
I can't wait to pimp up my nails with the stickers, though I'll start with being ultra safe and not 'out there'.
One other thing I couldn't wait for was to try the lipstick out, so I slapped some on the minute I got home, just to see how it would look. No lip liner or lip brush used and certainly no consideration as to whether my current (green-ish) eyeshadow look would go with the berry lipstick.
You be the judge, darker lip colors on me, yay or nay?
The blush I have on is faded MAC's Love Joy. Eyeshadow is a pile of stuff, I don't remember anymore. I was running on a tight schedule so it was
"throw on, blend, looks good, go"
Thanks for reading!

The lovely goodie bag was sponsored by Anna Sui.
I am certainly not getting paid for this and all opinions expressed are my own.

You look good in berry shade lip color! Have a gothic feel to it!
I heard the new lips collection will be out in April if I'm not wrong! (Wait for Mag entry.. I see her noting down almost everything in her iphone! lolx)
