Well not much of a segment name but I wanted to create one solely for online clothing store features. I didn't want to say blogshop since some onlines stores do want to establish themselves a platform further so Fashion Feature it is!
The aim of these posts would be to share my thoughts about the material/function of online shop clothes as we all can be a little skeptical about shopping online at times! I also try to take my own photos in the outfits to see how they would look on instead of solely using the model shot.
In this post I am featuring 4 clothing articles I had received from My T.A.K. Shop!
My T.A.K. Shop carries an assortment of tops, dresses, bottoms and even some pretty cute couple wear as well! I would say they have a nice range of styles from office wear to flowy maxi dresses. Though the style of it is essentially more on the feminine and girly side.
Their clothes come in one size and for reference I am a UK 6, 161cm
Now on to the four pieces I chose -- do click to enlarge as the photos are quite compressed within the post.
This top is a 2 piece and comes with a sheer cross-backed camisole as the outer layer (the flowy flair one) is pretty sheer. While the camisole itself is slightly translucent, the combination of this does cover up moderately.
The material is light-weight and flowy, making it comfortable and roomy to wear. It doesn't feel hot on either, and coupled with a pair of shorts it's a great casual yet 'dressed up' outfit in Singapore's weather. I've only gotten this about last week end but worn it a couple times already, love it!
An off-shoulder styled top with ruffling all over it. It's got fairly roomy sleeves while the blouse itself cinches at the bottom. It's primarily sheer at places between the ruffles (as seen in the detail shot in the first image). I would definitely recommend wearing a camisole inside unless you do not mind sheer tops.
Quick note but I can't seem to find this dress on their site at the moment. I'd like to think it's just out of stock right now? But you can email them to check.
It's a simple denim dress that zips up all the way from the bottom. I can imagine some might like to wear it vest-styled with perhaps a tank top and shorts if you wish to wear it in other ways, aside from it being a dress (maybe I should try that..).
The dress itself is straight while it does have a draw-string around the middle to cinch the waist area. Overall the dress is rather different from what I normally go for but it's quite a unique mix of a denim look with lacey details.
The dress itself does not come with a belt though it has an elastic band to cinch the waist for a more baby doll top look. Using a simple black belt would help to complete the look.
Length-wise this dress is rather short on me, though the lacey ruffles at the end does help make it seem a little 'longer', Though as the material (at the bottom) is quite light, it could be a wind hazzard and if I were wearing this out I would probably pair it with stockings/leggings. I do like how cute it looks and check out the detailing at the back!
Random but this whole dress seems to me like something Hayley Williams would wear. It's probably the squarish cut at the sleeves.
And those are the outfits! So do check out My T.A.K. Shop for more as they definitely carry a lot more fun stuff and these were just the pieces that caught my eye.
I am going to post up a LOTD post featuring the look I did for this shoot, just for the fun of and to document my rare encounters with false lashes. I was going to work on it tomorrow and put it up in this post but there's been a change of plans because......
I am going to B2ST's fan-meeting! *DANCES*
SUPER PSYCHED about it but I shall try and contain myself.
Thanks for reading!
