Killer Queen, Katy Perry – A New Fragrance

By Sara Kye · September 11, 2013 · 0 Comments ·

Okay, maybe not thaaaat new anymore *death glares the glitch* but new and pretty nonetheless so I'm still posting this.

I don't follow Katy Perry's perfume releases to date. Heck, I don't even know how many she has out already but this new one - Killer Queen - has caught my attention.

Whether you are a fan of this popstar or not, the bottle design in this is quite intriguing. It has the ability to veer towards tacky and it really depends on your tack-tolerance but I think it is quite adorable.

Top Notes: Dark Plum, Wild Berry, Bergamot
Middle Notes: Natural Jasmine Sambac, Rainbow Plumeria, Red Velvet Flower
Base Notes: Cashmeran, Natural Patchouli Heart, Liquid Praline

And to feed your curiosity about this a little more, here is the perfume commercial - quite a visual feast and very Katy Perry.

How do you like the sounds of this perfume?

I'd say I am intrigued to give it a whiff but I'm not very pleased at the 'berry' inclusion yet everything else sounds quite lovely. I'm not all over this but I am willing to give it a chance.

Thanks for reading!
