Hello, hello people!
Been pretty caught up amongst work and personal matters lately so it has gotten a wee bit tougher to squeeze blogging time out but I still try because it's a nice 'escape' from the other matters on hand. If I find the time to that is!
Regardless, I have finally painted on MAC's Peachstock nail varnish / polish!
What with me being so eager to get my hands on it but taking this long to actually swatch it.
The way I feel about the polish is the exact same way I feel about the lipstick. It's a lovely nude that is bordering dead-nude yet with just enough peach to give it some color.
Does that make sense? Either ways, it replicates the exact reason why I love Peachstock lipstick so this nail polish sure did Peachstock some justice!
Peachstock nail polish was surprisingly opaque; surprising with my personal experience with MAC polishes which tend to run a little thin. The swatches done here are with 2 coats though to break it down, it's 1 'normal' coat + a thinner one after to even some areas out.
The swatches were done without a topcoat, so you can see that the polish dries to this satin-ish finish. The lipstick is a satin finish... hmmm, deliberate?
It's not a matte, yet it's not exactly my kind of glossy either and I would prefer wearing this with a topcoat over. Though if you are going for the true mannequin nails then maybe you want to leave it as is.
For some super faux vogue-ness, I tried to replicate the idea of the press visuals with the matchy polish and lipstick. Though please excuse the shoddy image and just focus on the color.
I'd say color wise, I have no complains and the polish seems to represents Peachstock true and true.
If you are wondering, the polish does dry a smidget darker than what you see in the bottle so if you are apprehensive about how orange it seems in there, fear not!
So that wraps up my tiding-this-over entry, thanks for reading this quick mid-week post to keep this space updated and alive!
What do you have on your nails now? Do you like the idea of matchy lips and tips?

Love this color!! It's so classy and I personally love all the colors in that family. They go with everything
