Okay I know how extremely corny the title is, but I couldn't help myself...
Anyway I am mad excited about this package I can't even express or explain it. I had been stalking this product on koreabb for awhile now because they were sold out of it. So you can just imagine how elated I was when it was finally back in stock.
The item in question is the Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer. For those unsure, Etude House is a Korean cosmetic company that is apparently quite popular.
I am not sure who had first mentioned this product to me and that in turn made me research about it, finding some pretty positive reviews. It is raved as being the eye primer that girls in Korea use. Not sure how true that is, but it sounds promising. While researching, I stumbled across this blog post by a blogger called Kimiko. Along with her review on it, she provided a link to the local online blogshop, Koreabb (they ship internationally!), which is how I found that site.
I know Etude House had just opened stores in Singapore, but I heard this was not available locally? I am not sure, as there are also rumors that it is available. I don't know which is true as I have never set foot in an Etude House store here. Though regardless if it is or not, Koreabb carries this for SGD12.90. From rumors saying it is available in stores, it is said to be priced at SGD16.90.
I haven't tried it yet so I don't want to get all excited (though I already am) but if this product costs SGD12.90 and is as awesome as reviews have mentioned, who needs Urban Decay Primer Potion anymore?! But of course I wouldn't want to say a statement like that just yet...
I'll test this product out first.
Here are some shots of the product:
The formula of it is actually lighter than Urban Decay Primer Potion (UDPP),
I can't explain it but it's quite similar yet different.
The consistency of this feels a little thinner while UDPP feels more like a cream. Maybe I am noticing this because my depotted UDPP is starting to dry out.
Like the UDPP, this goes on a light skin-tone but blends in completely nude.
Can't wait to give this a spin tomorrow!
It seems like I have just caught on the Etude House hype and have been kind of obsessed with watching Etude House haul videos. I don't know why I never thought much of this brand before (when I went to KL, I saw this store a couple of times).. it could be the massively pink and doll-house like interior of the place that just scared me off.
Another point, why I get so excited over eye bases is beyond me.
Regardless, this was quite a rambly and choppy entry so I had better end it here.
Thank you for reading!
