Crabtree & Evelyn - Lily Eau De Toilette

By icyabstract · May 26, 2011 · 5 Comments ·

I've been going back and forth with this scent for quite awhile and didn't notice I haven't talked about it on here yet. I might have mentioned it once or twice in passing on twitter but now I shall give it a post of it's own.

Ever since I was gifted the Paul Smith Rose fragrance by my boy almost 2 years back, I've then been suckered into the world of perfumes. I used to think one scent is enough, as that's how people coin it your 'signature scent' and while there's nothing wrong with that, there's nothing wrong in having more either!

I was provided a 30ml bottle of the Crabtree & Evelyn Lily Fragrance (also available in 100ml) and I'm quite glad for being introduced to this. If I were sampling this in stores, I might have passed on it as it doesn't quite sit in the range of scents I normally check out.

This scent was launched with their Floral Fragrances collection sometime mid-march. Aside from the Lily fragrance the other scents available within this collection are Rosewater, Iris and Lavender.

Kas (cocomotion) was one of the bloggers that attended the launch event and you can check out her very entertaining post about the event and collection here.

Now about this scent:

It's a refreshing scent, very floral but yet still quite a light scent that's appropriate for daytime wear. It's something you can spritz on on a hot day and instantly feel refreshed by the smell of. Initially I found it a little too light and floral for my liking but as you wear it, the scent morphs into a slightly woody scent yet still fresh. It's not as 'airy' as it initially was and became something that I came to really like.

"Our eau de toilette features a perfect single accord of lily of the valley blended with dewy greens, velvety woodland mosses, musk, and hints of hyacinth and ylang ylang.”

Upon first use I found myself really liking it and have been reaching for it more often then I had expected. It does last well on me, ranging from 6-8 hours on some days and even up to 10 on others, it depends.

In terms of packaging, if you were to consider comparing, it's not as fancy as some bottles out there in the market but something about the clean and simplistic approach is nice though I wish the bottle shape was somehow easier to grip. It's quite large around the top and square-ish so I always fear dropping it, being the klutz that I am.

30ml - S$28
100ml - S$65

Don't want to make this a lengthy post to just give mention to a perfume that I'm currently loving and using in this crazy Singapore heat so I shall end it here!

What perfumes are you currently into? Did you have to change up your favorite perfume due to the sweltering heat (in Singapore)?

Lipswatch of DHC's Moisture Care Liquid Lip Colors

By icyabstract · May 25, 2011 · 6 Comments ·

This is probably one of my favorite items from the DHC Colored Makeup collection hence the Moisture Care Liquid Lipcolors (S$34.50) get their own special post.

Truth is I took these lip swatches a little later compared to everything else so it's posted here on its own but there is some truth in my earlier statement. I do like these liquid lip colors, more so then the lipsticks in the collection as these seem to provide more shine and color.

DHC Moisture Care Liquid Lipcolor in OR06

DHC Moisture Care Liquid Lipcolor in PK05

DHC Moisture Care Liquid Lipcolor in RD07

In a way, similar to the lipsticks these glosses don't carry crazy pigmentation but I believe it's something most are used to when it comes to asian cosmetics. The glosses are focussed on being, well, glossy with flecks of shimmer and glitter particles.

Comparing these swatch photos to the lipstick swatches, I'd say the glosses appeal a little more to me.

In the earlier post I highlighted the unique applicator that comes with these glosses and I have to say it does help make it easier to literally paint on the lipgloss. The fine tip of it also allows you to get to evenly get gloss near the crevices of the lips.

With this DHC lip colors (lipstick & lipglosses) it's a little surprising to me but I so happen to really like the RD shades. They aren't too dark or bold a red but yet they show up well and add a nice touch to a neutral look.

Such as in this case where I wore a neutral look with my frames and used the Liquid Lipcolor in RD07 to, as they say, put the look together.

Thanks for reading!

p.s. I am suppose to put up pictures of my new haircut (yes I got a haircut!) but I haven't even taken shots of it yet since my hair is up in a ponytail these days due to the hot weather. But just letting you know, new haircut up soon!

LOTD: DHC Pinks (with Canmake falsies & mention of L'oreal Curl Impact)

By icyabstract · May 25, 2011 · 4 Comments ·

Here's a look I had done incorporating the DHC RD05 Eyeshadow Palette, featured here in my post about DHC's Colored Makeup collection.

Though I guess I cheated a little and the whole look did not only compromise of that palette. I wanted to create a look with stronger pink-ish tones and while these DHC palettes are great for a more everyday-styled look, when you want stronger tones you'll have to layer on some cream base products to bring out the colors.

Products Used:

BROW
K-Palette Brow Liner in 02
Canmake Brow Powder in 01
Maquillage Brow Gel in 77

FACE
Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation
Anna Sui Protective Loose Powder (to set)

EYES
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Magical Tannsu Gel Liner in Rose Jelly (find here)
DHC Eyeshadow Palette in RD05
Lumiere Eye Pigment in Flambe (swatch here)
28 Color Palette
K-Palette Liquid Liner in Black
MAC Powerpoint Liner in Engraved
L'oreal Curl Impact Collagene Mascara
Canmake False Lashes in 06

CHEEKS
MAC Mineralized Skinfinish in Redhead

LIPS
Revlon Renewist Lipcolor in Perfect Pastel

Highlighted products were provided by companies/distributors, I was not obliged to use/feature them in LOTDs.

Using the gel liner as a cream-colored base before applying the shadows really helped to intensify the pinkish tones in the DHC eyeshadow. Otherwise, from earlier swatches the DHC shadows itself carry a slightly more neutral tone with a wash of pink, for a more subtle look.

  1. Gel liner as a cream-colored base all over the lid
  2. highlight color
  3. Inner-half of the lid
  4. Outer-half of the lid
  5. To intensify the outer corner
  6. Blending from the crease to the brow bone

Digressing a little from DHC a little, I tried on the L'oreal Curl Impact Collagene Mascara (the one that claims to curl your lashes without even using a curler) and I would say I was a little disappointed. Though this is coming from someone who never really took a liking to L'oreal mascaras.

My verdict:
Comparing this to my HG Majolica Majorca mascaras, these were a little on the natural side and didn't actually hold my curls as well. I suppose if I were going somewhere nearby or throwing on a quick look I would use it for the ease of washing it off later, but otherwise I'm not entirely impressed with it and it hasn't converted me to a L'oreal mascara user.

Though mascaras are very personal depending on what you're looking for and how your lashes are like. I might give this a couple more tries as some mascaras are known to get better as the formula 'dries up' a little.

To amp up the look, I decided to try on my Canmake falsies in 06. These are half-strips, not full length and primarily for you to place on the outercorner.

They blend in quite naturally but if you really look you can tell they are there at the outer-corner.

I was initially going to post the DHC Lipgloss lip swatches here but I think this entry is running a little long so that will be in a separate post of its own.

On a side-note, this will be the last LOTD post (in awhile) of me with my long hair!
Thanks for reading!

Goodies: DHC Colored Makeup Range

By icyabstract · May 24, 2011 · 4 Comments ·

DHC, a brand most known for their skincare products and interesting supplement drinks, have now put out a makeup collection that comprises of base makeup, eyeshadow, lipsticks and lipglosses.

In this post I will first highlight the 'fun' and colorful bit by showcasing the eyeshadows, lipglosses and lipsticks that have been launched at most Watsons stores since the 1st of May.

This makeup range is fragrance-free and paraben-free, making it suitable for those with sensitive skin or are iffy about using products with paraben.

The DHC Eyeshadow palettes (S$31.90) are specially infused with ingredients like Olive Virgin Oil, Squalane and Ceramide. These help to hydrate and protect the eye area from dryness since the skin there though sensitive and thin is exposed to a variety of makeup products (eyeshadow, base, liner etc).

The eyeshadow quads are available in 3 different tones that are generally subtle enough for everyday wear. The eyeshadow shades all carry shimmer (as you will see in the swatches) to provide some dimension for the illusion of bigger eyes, a popular thing with most asian-brand eyeshadows.

DHC Eyeshadow Palette in BE03

DHC Eyeshadow Palette in PU06

DHC Eyeshadow Palette in RD05

Quick thoughts:
The eyeshadow shades were all pigmented and as mentioned, shimmery, though I did notice that RD05 and BE03 (the reddish and brownish quad) seemed to be a bit more pigmented. For PU06 (the purple quad) I had to go over the darkest purple once more to get the purple tones to really pull through. Though packed with shimmer, I didn't experience any shimmery fall out while using BE03 for work. The packaging itself is rather sturdy and compact too. The shades are a little run of the mill, but I guess that is their concept for the color selection - a more wearable approach.

--

Next up, the DHC Moisture Care Lipstick (S$34.50) which is available in 5 shades.

I would say my first impression of this would be that it's a little pricey going for S$34.50 though DHC supports that with a multitude of super hydrating ingredients infused into this lipstick - Super Hyaluronic Acid, Marne Collagen, Olive Virgin Oil, Squalane and Amino-based emollients.

Out of the 5 shades I received the following 3

DHC Lipstick in BE07

DHC Lipstick in PK04

DHC Lipstick in RD08

Quick thoughts:
The lipsticks are more of a glaze, providing a hint of color coupled with a mildly glossy finish. They are also infused with some flecks of glitter for that reflective dimensional look, though the texture of these seem to be a little 'thin'. I noticed that they tend to initially settle into the fine lines (as seen in PK04's swatch) before the lipstick's hydrating properties are put to work and help 'plump' the lips. In comparison, these remind me of Maquillage's Glossy Perfect Rouge though Maquillage's is glossier, creamier, and pricier too. Though I do like how with the DHC Lipstick my lips still feel hydrated after these have worn off be it over time or after eating.

--

Next up, the DHC Moisture Care Liquid Lip Color (S$34.50) which is available in 5 shades as well.

The lipgloss is also infused with the same hydrating ingredients found in the lipstick. Additionally, it is also enriched with Oat Kernel Extract which helps lift wrinkles on the lips. It is said that with continuous usage one's lips might be firmer and smoother. Perhaps I should just stick with using this gloss everyday and see if that works out!

DHC Moisture Care Lip Color in RD07, PK05 and OR06

I have not done lip swatches for these glosses just yet but will post some up in an upcoming LOTD that I had done using the DHC eyeshadow Palette in RD05. In the meantime, here's a look at the unique applicator of the glosses which are shaped in such a way that allows you to paint on lipgloss like you would with a brush.

The full range of DHC's Colored Makeup Range can be found at Watsons stores in Bugis Junction, Compass Point, ION Orchard, Ngee Ann City and Raffles City amongst others if you are interested to drop by and check these products out in person.

Thanks again for reading!

LOTD: Audi Fashion Fest Look (feat. Shu Uemura lashes)

By icyabstract · May 22, 2011 · 3 Comments ·

Hello all,

Just wanted to share the look I wore to the Audi Fashion Festival 2011 Shapes & Shadow show, that I had attended some time back.

I wanted to attempt a slightly smokier then usual look since it's not often that I can wear a dramatic smokey look and not feel 'too made up'.

I didn't manage to take any pictures of the look until I got back home at night, and I'm pretty surprised that my makeup still looked pretty good on even after 6 hours and blotting once. For that I will have to give credit to the Shu Uemura Mousse base, one of my favorite bases to use right now.

A nice surprise at the event was we were each given a pair of Shu Uemura lashes to spruce up our look for the night. I went with this pair and Sophia (retailtherapy) helped me put them on using Shu's lashglue (which has some crazy heavy duty hold!)

Shu Uemura - Partial Soft Cross lashes

We didn't use all the partial bits, instead we used a total of 4 pieces, 2 on the outer corner of each eye.

The effect was really natural but gave a nice emphasis to the lashes as well, I'm really liking how these lashes look on!

If anything, I must say I'm probably eyeing the Shu Uemura lash glue right now. The grip and hold of that thing is really no joke and for a false lash newbie like me, that would really put my mind at ease when wearing falsies out.

Audi Fashion Festival 2011: Shapes & Shadows with Shu Uemura and Redken

By icyabstract · May 20, 2011 · 6 Comments ·

Earlier this week I was invited, along with a couple other blogger pals, to attend the Shapes & Shadows show in our recent Audi Fashion Festival 2011. Not only were we invited to attend the fashion show itself, we had the privilege to take a peek behind the scenes and check out how preparation for the big show was done.

The day started at the L'oreal Academy where most of the runway look preparation took place. As this fashion show required more detail in hair and makeup, it is almost impossible to finish all that backstage.

The brands involved in this show were Shu Uemura and Redken, so naturally makeup and hairstyling played a big part in the preparations.

The makeup style for this show involved two parts, a darker smoldering look and a bright vibrant look, both of which are more avant garde and dramatic. The backstage pictures I had taken primarily feature the brighter look.

In this fashion show, Shu Uemura are also introducing their new limited edition Lash collection, Ethnocolor - A tribal inspired series. To fir that theme, the lashes are made very 'natural' looking, as if it were really put together in a handicraft manner and the colors are all bright and ethnic.

The above lashes are sold seperately but the makeup artist was going to use the shorter strip on the lower lashes. Don't those little colorful balls just resemble berries that were picked up and stuck on a lashband?

Hairstyling going on!

There was quite a crowd in the hairstyling room hence I didn't want to go in to snap pics and end up being in someone's way.

After some fun with lashes (more about that in a following post) in the model waiting room, we adjourned to Takashimaya for some dinner at Tonkichi where we were introduced to exciting upcoming Shu Uemura base products and their newly formulated Fresh Cleansing Oil - again more about all those in later entries so do check back.

Now on to the exciting part, the Shapes & Shadows Fashion show held at Tent@Orchard.

The show consisted of three different segments inwhich the first and third one focused on Redken's hairstyling with support from Shu Uemura's makeup while the second (or middle) segment focuses on Shu Uemura's Ethnocolor lash collection and highlights the bright and colorful makeup we had seen earlier.

Enough said, I shall let pictures do the talking.

Segment 1
- consists of a darker and gloomier vibe with edgy hairstyles and smokey eye makeup.

Adding some fun to the Redken show, there was on-the-spot hair styling demonstration by Philip Barwick, Artistic Director of Redken Australia.

He pinned, hair-sprayed and teased the model's hair from what was strips of hair to this:

Segment 2 - The showcase of Shu Uemura's bright-colored makeup and Ethnocolor lashes

Before the start of the second segment there was a presentation feature of the makeup artists complete with their photo, face chart and signature.

Shu Uemura takes pride in featuring their makeup artists since they are technically the star of the show.

The second segment kick started with the makeup artists making an appearance on the runway with the models.

Getting to work, they misted on the Depsea Water Facial Mist before proceeding to apply lipstick and blush in an artistic performance manner, in sync with the music.

Afterwhich, the finishing touch was putting on the Ethnocolor lashes to further play up the look.

Here are some finished looks on the runway:

Segment 3 - The final segment was a burst of color with both dramatic hairstyles, bright eye makeup and colorful flowy dresses

And quite possibly my favorite hairstyle/model of the night:

The duty of providing eye candy fell on this male model as the crowd ooh-ed and aah-ed at his appearance

After that, Philip Barwick did a second hair demonstration and this time it involved snipping off hair right there on the runway. I sure hope that is a hair extension the model has on!

The show ended off with the models, makeup artists and hairstylists all coming onto the runway and basking in their much-deserved applause.

Overall I had an amazing time that day being able to experience the upbeat atmosphere at the fashion show and at the same time witness the work and preparation that goes into it. This entry might not be able to bring the full dynamics of the show to you but I hope it's a good visual treat as to what had happened!

Some photos with the fellow beauty pals at the event.

Haul: 2 MAC Basics

By icyabstract · May 10, 2011 · 15 Comments ·

Alas, the mystical creature that is the haul.

I'm exaggerating but its approaching mid-week and work is getting stress hence my delirious self de-stressing here.

My point being, I rarely do hauls and voila here's one albeit from awhile back. I haven't been on the ball about reviews either but I will get those out. The past weekends have simply been a case of slapping on makeup and rushing out. I've even skipped wearing contacts and stuck to glasses as wearing contacts 5 days a week is making me not want to bother on weekends. Though lazy weekends will have to end, that being said, reviews of a good number of items will be up once I manage the shots I need.

Alright, back to this little MAC haul!

Awhile back I was perusing Sephora, and MAC at Sephora, with Chantana and Sophia without a plan to get anything. However that plan wavered and faltered after Chantana started raving about an undereye primer from MAC's Prep+Prime range.

MAC Vibrancy Eye Primer

I believe the keywords that suckered me into the purchase was that it promised to bring vibrancy to the undereye with an ability to make makeup/concealer there last longer. I believe there was mention about it being able to reduce puffy eyes due to it containing caffeine.

I've used this for the past week and I do love it's texture. It's light-weight and gel-like but still creamy, making it easy to spread out over the delicate undereye area. I don't experience puffiness so I can't review that but I find it does make my concealer/corrector stay on longer hence hiding my dark circles better.

The pricetag for this though is a little overwhelming at S$58 for 15ml. Though if keeping your dark circles concealed through the day proves to be an issue you face, this might be a small (okay, really not small at all) price to pay for beauty. Will update again with a proper review!

The next item I picked up is probably a bore in general makeup hauling but I find getting basic skin stuff quite fun as it makes the whole makeup routine interesting again.

MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer in NC20

Now that I've stopped my self-tanning obsession, it seems I'm just getting fairer, or have? I've never been matched to an NC20 before and while this color does work, something a smidgen darker would probably sit better on my skintone.

I've wanted to try this concealer for a long while but didn't feel right abandoning my Studio Finish. However since my Studio Finish is now starting to cave, it's about time...

here's the (gross) state of my Studio Finish (NW25)

I do feel a little dissatisfied at the way NC20 for Studio Sculpt matches me and might go back and get an NC25. If that appears a little dark on I'll have to work with 'mixing' 20 and 25 on.

Oh well, here's the end of my rambly post, thanks for reading!

Watsons rolls out Giftcards!

By icyabstract · May 10, 2011 · 2 Comments ·

Hello everyone, in this post I want to spread the word about Watsons Giftcards.

It's not a very new thing if you follow (or rather 'Like') Watsons on their facebook page, but for those uninformed this may be the best solution if you are fretting over birthday gifts.

Of course giving personal gifts to besties and loved ones are always the best but when it comes to colleagues or acquaintances, this would fit the bill. After all, Watsons carries stuff that cater to men, women, kids and pretty much everyone be it if they were shopping for cosmetics, toiletries, hairdye, snacks etc. The recipient of this will be able to have some practical (or perhaps frivolous) hauling with this card -- everyone's happy!

Upon purchase of the giftcard, you will have to input a minimum value of S$10 within it.

The giftcard comes with a little memo card where you can be personal and write a message to the recipient.

The back of the attached memo card comes with some instructions like the card being usable and that you can top it up once the value runs low. This way the recipient (and you) will be able to understand this giftcard fully.

To answer quick questions:

  • The value in the card can be used to pay for any and everything at all Watsons stores, with the exception of Watsons at Changi Airport.
  • Value in card cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Value in your giftcard is not transferrable to other giftcards and cannot be combined with other giftcards' value
  • Last but not least is there an expiration? Well the value will expire if the card has not been used for 12 consecutive months after purchase/top-up

If you have more questions regarding this I'm pretty sure you can drop Watsons a message on their Facebook page and they will get back to you about it. This way others will be able to find out from your query too!

This giftcard is another addition to Watsons' cards, on top of their membership program. While I like shopping for gifts, I feel a little more assured I have something to turn to if all else fails and I can't find suitable gifts in time. It wouldn't count as being insincere to give giftcards, but more of practical, especially if your friend loves shopping at Watsons.

In another scenario, getting a watsons giftcard for yourself is pretty nifty too. It would function like a Watsons 'cashcard' and you'll be able to spend from it without feeling all that bad about sapping from your bank (working some psychology here!).

Thanks for reading!

Watsons Giftcard was provided by Watsons, membership card was purchased on my own way back.

Goodie bag from KATE event

By icyabstract · May 8, 2011 · 0 Comments ·

Hello everyone,

In this post I will briefly go through the goodie bag I had acquired during the KATE event I had mentioned a few entries ago. I did say I would talk about it briefly so, here it is!

KATE Cosmetics's slogan would be 'No More Rules', daring their users to express themselves creatively in their own sense with no heed to rules. Here's a little blurb from their brochure pretty much summing up KATE's message:

Free from the routines.
Free from rules.
All you want is your own style...

We each received a Dual Blend eyeshadow in a random shade. There are 7 different shades in total and I happened to get the one that caught my eye (and I had tried) during the event!

The two shades swatch pretty pigmented though it's a given the lighter one will apply with more frost and shimmer then the true base color. I find the darker shades to be slightly softer and creamier in texture while the lighter one does feel a tad gritty however it's not something to rate it down for.

The recommended application method for this is:

Incase the picture is a little small:

  1. Apply the lighter shade all over the lid, leaving a little room just before the browbone
  2. Mix the shades (moving from lighter to darker) and apply that mix all over the lid just beneath the crease
  3. Lastly, concentrate the darker shade on it's own close to the lashline, blending upwards for a gradiant.

This is a makeup technique used by a lot of brands to create that soft natural look with some definition. However the idea of blending the lighter and darker shade together to create another shade seems pretty interesting.

I did not follow this application method when trying the duo out at the event as I find it's not the most flattering method for me. Instead I placed the lighter on the inner corner, darker on the outer corner and just blended (see here).

I blended out the swatch I made earlier to give a rough idea of how the gradiant would appear.

The brochure also contains pictures of the recommended eyelook with the other duos.

Another item in the goodie bag was their Super Sharp Liner, something I was contemplating on picking up some time ago.

This liquid liner has a super fine tipped application brush that seems to swatch even finer than K-Palette's Liquid Liner (which I'm using and loving right now). I will be switching over to trying this out soon as I can feel my K-Palette Liquid Liner's time is almost up. Can't wait to see how this performs!

The next couple of items are lash products - a mascara primer and lengthening mascara.

Upon pulling the wand of the Macara Base out, you will be able to see little strands of fibre on the brush, those seem to be responsible for the job of lengthening and possibly a little volumizing. This Base also claims to be able to maintain curl while thickening and enlongating the lashes.

Probably a frivolous thing but I like how the brush look, almost translucent and all instead of a pasty white. That aside, will give this a try soon as the only mascara primer I have ever known to like is Majolica Majorca's Lash Bone.

The mascara we received is Long Gel Mascara (Magical Long Mascara), a different one from what I tried at the event (Volume Mascara FR). I was secretly hoping that we would get Volume Mascara FR as I loved the extra volume it gave for that night, albeit I already had some mascara on.

The wand of Long Gel Mascara is a little slimmer then Volume Mascara, if I do remember correctly.

I wouldn't be opening this mascara so soon as I do have some others to go through. I guess you could say I like to stay 'safe' with my mascaras. Even though I have a good number that I have purchased or received to try, I do like to (re-purchase) and keep one Majolica Majorca on hand as I know that is my fool-proof mascara - volume and length plus 'dark' formulation with it being waterproof and smudgeproof.

Wrapping it up, it's Mothers' Day today so Happy Mothers' Day to all of your moms and you if you are a mom! Hope everyone has a nice Sunday and for those who need not work tomorrow, yay you~

Thanks for reading (:

Goodies: Being Rose-y this Mothers' Day with Lemongrass House

By icyabstract · May 7, 2011 · 0 Comments ·

With Mothers' Day just around the corner, this Sunday to be exact, Lemongrass House has put together a special promotion of receiving 25% off when you purchase 2 or more products in the following scent: Lavender, Blue Chamomile, Rose and Ylang Ylang.

Valid from now till the 8th of May, it is still in time for those stumped on what to get for your Mom. The occasion aside, you can also take this opportunity to pick something up for yourself!

Established in 1996, Lemongrass House is best known for their products being freshly handmade with natural ingredients. The entire brand image from logo to packaging and even store display gives off an earthy vibe.

The folks at Lemongrass House were also lovely enough to provide me some products I could shower my mom with (or rather my mom could shower with).

The store itself carries a nice range of products for each scent from shampoo to shower gel, bar soap and more.

Rose Absolute Shower Gel

Lemongrass House keeps their products paraben-free, sulphate free and it is not tested on animals.

Aside from shower goodies, they carry moisturizing products such as body creams as well.

Rose Absolute Hydrating Body Cream

The last product is one I was pretty excited about and while I gave all the products to my mom, this was the one product she returned to me saying I could use instead as she has no use for it. She probably has a use for it but oh well... thanks mom.

Rose Absolute Aromatic Room & Pillow Spray

I was crazed about this as (my mom &) I love the Rose scent and while I have my room scented with some Rose scent pack, it would be cool to have my pillow scented as well. In this scenario opting for the Lavender scent would make more sense, but I love Rose and that is probably soothing enough for me.

I can't speak for the other scents but I do love the smell of Lemongrass House's rose scent in their products. It's a consistent smell across all the products and doesn't go 'off' in any of them. The scent is although quite strong and noticeable, gives a light and airy feel but still packs a rose punch. It starts off a sweeter scent and gets softer with hints of floral, a very soothing scent indeed.

I do not know the price for the above products (sadly), I didn't manage to drop by the store and was not given a price-list but based on Kas (cocomotion's) previous post mentioning Lemongrass House, the smaller (100ml) shampoo bottles are about S$9 and the larger ones (260ml) are about S$18.
