LOTD: True Blue Pop of Color

By icyabstract · March 29, 2013 · 2 Comments ·

Hello long weekend! I am taking advantage of this added break to throw up some entries because I foresee myself being rather caught up with work in the week(s?) to come.

After 4 months away from work, what was I expecting right?

Regardless, here's the LOTD that I gave a quick sneap peek too in my recent rambly entry.

I was quite excited to wear and also photograph this look due to the intensity of the liner hence do pardon the eye spam that might follow!

Well, the title is a tad misleading because the blue here isn't a 'true blue'.

Instead it is a bright cornflower blue and most definitely not for the faint-hearted!

Though on second thought, maybe it would be suited as a pop of color for those who don't otherwise like to use color in their eyeshadow choices.

While intimidating to some because of the intensity, I feel that this dose of color is not hard to pull off at all.

The stroke of cornflower blue comes from Mirenesse's Inside Out 27H Eye Kohl in Khnum, as mentioned and swatched here.

I had previously used the Eye Kohl in Atum, also from Mirenesse, and here is another from the brand because I do enjoy using them through this eyeliner-obsessed phase of mine.

For this look, I kept the rest of the lid relatively neutral and kept Khnum the centre of attraction.

Not that it needs any help with that!

While Khnum is an intense shade, I felt like I needed a bit of definition to balance my eye look out so it doesn't look like something avant garde and straight off the runway.

If you are a little more experimental, you may be able to pull off using this as an eyeliner alone!

Though regardless, I feel this works wonderfully (and perfectly well) as an accent liner and it would most likely be how I would be using it.

I did warn you about the eye spam!

With a dash of something so vibrant on my eyes, I kept the rest of my face rather toned down and soft so I don't look too done up. After all, this look was for a simple and casual night out with the hubs.

I took this opportunity to try out one of the new Dior Addict gloss (from Dior's upcoming huge gloss collection) in Beige Songe.

While it appeared promising in the tube, it did go on rather colorless though there was a lovely shimmer and a nice glossy shine. The end result is a very natural effect though thanks to the glossed look, it does give my lips some dimension from a distance.

Product Used:

Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50 PA+++
Benefit Porefessional
Elisha Coy Always Triple BB Cream
LUV Carat Loose Setting Powder

CHEEKS
Canmake 3 Blush 1 Highlight in 02

LIPS
Dior Dior Addict Gloss in Beige Songe

Highlighted products were provided by companies/distributors,
I was not obliged to use/feature them in LOTDs.

By now I think that you would all be pretty bored of my face but here's a last look at how the liner fared after 6 hours of wear.

After 6 hours it was still going strong without a fade in intensity or any smudging going on. Though some credit should also be given to NARS's Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base as well!

I think bold colored or glittery liners are a great way to spice up your eye looks when you don't have the time or want to fuss with shadows. Those who steer clear from colored shadows can give the accent liner method a go.

Don't say I didn't warn you, it may just change your (makeup) life!

All that aside, my hair has gotten to the point where I totally dread how it looks, feels and how tough it is to maintain it. It is incredibly heavy, given the length of all the layers now and baby apparently thinks it's a new toy that hangs down from mommy so she grabs and tugs at every opportunity she gets.

Thus! My hair would be facing some changes over this long weekend and I simply can't wait.

I haven't decided what I would like to do with it but I am leaning towards getting it chopped off and trying a refreshingly short length for the new year (a bit late for the 'new year') though I am quite attached to the length of my hair.

I guess we shall see!

Thanks for reading and hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

On My Nails: Candy Cane (Sorta?)

By icyabstract · February 10, 2012 · 7 Comments ·

Through my recent ventures of testing nail designs out, I feel very humbled by it and realize that I'm honestly not very well versed with the art of nail polish at all! Aside from being able to wield it on my left and right, I'm a mess when it comes to any sort of 'design', I don't even have the guts to call it nail art. Dramatic sounding but honestly, it's quite a downer when you keep trying something only to not have it match up to what you had in mind.

Nonetheless, here is my not-that-fail (but still not perfect) attempt at something called taping. It's a technique that is embraced on Nailside, a blog I found out about from Kas's blog. Upon checking the step-by-step tutorials, the steps seem simple enough so I was confident I could do something pretty.

Boy was I wrong!

That aside, I think this one is decent enough to show so... here's my rendition at creating a Candy Cane inspired swirl. By the word swirl I don't mean that intricate beautiful vision but really the 'things going here and there' one.

I used a white H&M polish for the base and Canmake's Nail Polish in 51 over. I figured the shimmers from Canmake's would be subtle and add some jazz to this combination but, again, I was wrong. The sparkles just vanished!

Also, through this I've been reminded again of how much I don't fancy a flat white polish. They are great for bases and all but every single time I swatch it on it's own, it just rings 'correction fluid' in my brain.

I think the end result is quite pleasant from a distance but when viewed up-close, it's definitely not what I had in mind at all.

Nonetheless, I'll keep trying my hand at this taping until I get the hang of it! I think my 'down-fall' lies in not getting the right 'idea' of where to best place the tape and also I feel the tape pieces I used were a tad too thick.

I remember I using tape for my french manicures, before it got too time-consuming and I ended up dong it free-hand instead. Thus this whole taping thing is like re-visiting something I used to do yet taking it further. I refuse to give up till I am able to do it well and feel satisfied with the end design!

Have you tried taping? What do you think of it?

My Top 8 Coral/Orange flush (with Swatches)!

By icyabstract · November 2, 2011 · 6 Comments ·

I have probably rattled about how I have been loving orange/coral blush shades over the past couple of months.

While that obsession is slowly slipping away with the summer trend, I thought I would take this chance to feature 8 blush items I have come to reach for when looking for a peachy/coral glow.

During my orange/coral phase, I first sorted my collection via how they looked in the pans but in most cases a coral blush in the pan never translates the same on my skin. I don't believe it's just me but coral has a way of pulling more pink on certain skintones while orange blushes subdues to a coral. I suppose if I pile them on enough they will show up true to the pan, but that's not really what we are looking for!

Cutting to the chase, an overview of the 8 blushes in mention.

It's always bright and sunny in Singapore so there is always an occasion to throw on the corals!

It's a lovely twist how MAC's Happy Together and Warmth of Coral seem a little neutral in the pan but when swatched does provide that tinge of coral summery goodness. Maybelline Peach Satin's pigmentation was quite expected since it's a cream/mousse finish and a pretty vibrant shade even in the 'pot'.

The Makeup Shop blush in M05 was a random buy from SASA because I had some vouchers to clear but it turned out to be a lovely blush. It has little flecks of silver glitter in it, a nice change to the usual gold inclusion for corals.

Swatching the Canmake Cheek Powders alongside each other, PW27 appears to pull more orange then PW16 but I have no idea why because it's quite the opposite on my face! I don't believe I have mixed the swatches up in any way but... that's the magic of orange/coral blushes I suppose?

The Canmake cream blush in 10 does not swatch the least bit coral on me at all but it does look the part in the pan! It's still a lovely color nonetheless.

I know a couple of the above items are no longer available, case in point the MAC limited edition blushes. I'm not sure if the Maybelline Mousse products are still for sale abroad but I know they are pretty much discontinued here, along with L'oreal's Fresh Papaya blush.

I know it's a bit pointless to pull out stuff you cannot get but this also shows that collecting makeup is fun when you can look back on your 'treasures'!

From the above 8 items, my favorite peachy glow is still Canmake's Cheek Powder in PW16.

I had posted a full face look using that blush in this LOTD.

Scrolling through my entries I think that maybe Chanel's Bronze Corail bronzer/blush could also be featured here though it leans a tad more bronzey then coral.

However, that again is another item you can't get right now so lets scrap that... but if you are curious, swatches here.

Swatches: Canmake Crack Lacs are Back!

By icyabstract · October 7, 2011 · 6 Comments ·

The Canmake Crack Lacs are making an appearance on our shelves again! Speculated to be released around mid-end of October

I have featured 2 shades back in my 'Chinese New Year' nail combo entry but I will be swatching all the Crack Lacs within this entry.

Aside from the Crack Lacs I also received 5 'normal' nail polish colors.

Top Row: 51, 50, 48 // Bottom Row: 49, 52

I'd say it's pretty generous of Teeni (Canmake's local distributor) to provide the nail polish shades along with. I did a swatch of the normal polishes as well, since I was going to be swatching them anyway and I think my favorite color of the bunch is 52.

It reminds me of a bronze-ier and lighter version of a nail combination I once had by layering LA Girl's 24K over a black polish (see here).

Shade 49 is more of a sheer shimmer polish then anything and I think it would work best layered over an opaque cream polish, maybe 48?

While red polishes really isn't my thing (I've only worn them in Nail features once) I'm actually quite liking 51. It has subtle shimmers to it so it's not a flat red shade.

And moving on, here are the Canmake Crack Lac shades they are putting out for October 2011! Sadly they are going to be Limited Edition again.

The Crack polishes come in Red, Black, White, Gold and Silver.

The gorgeous Blue Crack Lac that was launched the previous time around was a 2010 Limited Edition and will not be making an appearance, but oh well. These 5 shades are lovely too, especially the gold and silver ones!

With the multi-colored manicure I already had on I thought I could throw the White Crack Lac over but... I'd say it didn't quite turn out as I had imagined.

I probably didn't do it justice wearing it this way but just to give you an idea of how the White Crack Lac works. While it's not the most flattering with the red and blues, I think it looks lovely with the Bronzey shade... no?

I removed it shortly after (and did the CNY nails) because it looked like I got correction fluid all over my fingers, but I guess that's just a White Crack Lac/Shatter effect. Gotta be careful with that one.

A few days later I layered the Black, Red and Silver Crack Lacs over China Glaze's Something Sweet.

The Silver Crack Lac would probably look better on a darker base and incase you have missed it, here's how the Gold Crack Lac looks, probably one of the loveliest shades.

The only other Crack/Shatter brand of polish I have used is OPI so I'm no guru but I do prefer the Canmake ones to OPI's. The (Canmake) polish tends to crack nicer and more consistently. It dries pretty fast but yet you can rush on a second layer in the nick of time if your first layer was quite thin and it still cracks fine, unlike OPI where you might just end up covering the cracking.

In all, I think these are pretty Crack polishes and if you are sick of Crack/Shatters at least check out the Gold and Silver, they'll add a nice (subtle) touch to your manicures.

Canmake Crack Lacs will retail for S$14.90 at Watsons (starting late October 2011)

Nails: Chinese New Year came early?

By icyabstract · September 23, 2011 · 4 Comments ·

Just before my Hong Kong trip I tweeted about receiving a love pack from the folks over at Canmake.

I wouldn't be going into detail about what I got here but it's basically a couple of nail polishes and the popular (till it got wiped out) Canmake Crack-Lac polishes! Will be posting more information soon, I want to get swatches for it all and appreciate the polishes while doing so.

I finally took some of the shades out to play and ended up with this combination.

Base – Canmake 51
Shatter – Canmake CL08 (Gold)
Topcoat - Seche Vite

I think this might be my first post with red nail polish on! For some reason I hardly ever wear red nail polish and while this came out quite nice it seems to look a little Chinese New Year-ish?

I got sick of it the next day and used a no-brand black polish to create some (rather jagged) french tips to lessen that Red Packet look.

Not the best picture, but from afar its quite cute however I didn't achieve my 'goal'.

According to my mom, it looks even more Chinese New Year-ish with the black tip on. Oh well... it's pretty and I'll probably be changing it up in a few more days anyway.

I have recently hauled some polishes and combined with the Canmake goodie pack, it seems like you'll be seeing my fingers quite a lot in the next few entries to come.

Blush Look: That Orange Canmake Blush

By icyabstract · September 21, 2011 · 5 Comments ·

Hello!

Some quick look shots I snapped in the morning before heading off to work. Afterall I did promise to post up a look shot of the Canmake PW16 blush -- basically the orange one.

To jog your memory it's featured on the left in the picture below.

I used it light handedly enough to have it show up as a mild flush in-person though I'm a bit bummed it doesn't translate stronger in pictures. I'm afraid you can't see the blush much so I'll attach 3 pictures and hope at least one of them gives the blush the justice it deserves.

(click on image for full size, it helps!)

It does not show up strongly since this is a mild color by nature. You can build the intensity up but I opted for a natural look since I was just going to work.

I like the tone of this blush because it works well with and blends in with contouring. Since it's a brighter color, it adds a nice lift to the cheeks, and has a significantly different form of 'bringing life to the face' as compared to pink/red blushes.

I'm not sure how to best describe it but I like that almost artificial yet still natural hint of color on; artificial mainly because noone blushes orange! I would say it's better off labeled as a cheek color as opposed to a blush and I like that soft vibrancy orange blushes give!

Here's a strong and blended out swatch of the Canmake blush.

Quite odd how I got this probably a year ago and am only giving it love right now. Guess makeup really is about re-discovering what you have in a different time and appreciating it again. There's still hope for the other items chucked at the back of the drawers!

This isn't a look of the day because I can't remember what I had on my eyes and didn't take a close-up eye shot. But if you're wondering about my lip color I was wearing Victoria Secret's Lipstick in Heartbeat, which I received from Sophia (retailtherapy -- thanks Sophia!)

Perfect lipstick shade for my orange blush obsession right now!

Are you in a orangey or coral blush mood these days or have always loved it?

Goodies from Canmake's Girly, Shiny & Pop Party!

By icyabstract · August 26, 2011 · 9 Comments ·

Some time back a couple of bloggers and I attended Canmake's first media launch. Styled like a fancy girly party, we were briefed about the brand history and got to browse some products that Teeni (Canmake's local distributor) brought in. That aside we also played with the Canmake Crack Lac polishes.

Which by the way, did I mention that the popular Crack Lac polishes might be making their way back to our shores? Check out what Chantana, Sarah and I got up to during the event.

This post is rather belated and I realize I have a couple of backlogged stuff to put up but I'm trying to catch up with all that and am attempting to keep my entries as recent as possible! Had been a little caught up and resulted in me being out of the blogging zone, but I kind of feel that blogging spark coming back... in a way?

Well that aside, back to the goodie bag!

They were very generous with the products so this entry is going to be midly picture heavy, though it's not as bad as it sounds. I'm still in the midst of deciding how to even go about reviewing these but I'll worry about that later.

First item isn't a makeup item but a mirror! It's a princessy and decent sized pocket mirror which would be cute to carry around in your handbag.

Moving away from dolly baby pink shades, the color in fashion this season is orange. Though Canmake's definition of orange still has remnants of pink in it and leans towards, I would say, a coral.

We were provided a mix of items from cream blushes to powder blush, blush duos and lipgloss. One thing across the board with these is they highlight the color Canmake wishes to reflect this season, orange-ish coral.

While the new Powder Cheek shade might seem a little orange when placed alongside the many pink blushes Canmake has out, I was surprised to find that I have an even orange-er blush from Canmake. Apparently I had gotten this way back, chucked it away and forgot all about it till now.

When placed beside a more orange blush (PW16), the new color (PW27) obviously leans towards a coral. Though it is a lovely color.

Now for the cream blush shade that was featured above,  Shade No. 12.

While it looks relatively peachy (yes, that's the word I was looking for!) in the pan, it was explained that this shade tends to pull peachy on some and pink on others. I believe I'm the latter as it looks downright pink when I swatch it.

The cream blush itself contains little flecks of shimmers as well, which I'm not exactly fond of. Texture-wise it's like that of a typical Canmake cream blush - smooth, blends well and non-greasy feeling. It's just sad how it really reflects pink on my skintone without an inkling of peach/orange at all...

The powder blush (featured above, PW27), has a peachier tone on me, thankfully! But it's still pinkish, darn my skintone?

Has anyone own or swatched these shades?
Do they tend to reflect peachier or pinker on you?

I didn't swatch the Cheek Duo becuase I'm saving that for another post that I will be posting up soon!

As for the lipgloss we were provided with the four colors that were launched and the coral color featured above is Shade 02.

These are gloss-like and have that transparency to them yet also a decent color pay-off, I would say it's more pigmented then say the Majolica Majorca glosses, however they are on a different basis. These glosses tend to be creamier while Majolica Majorca's are sparkly and shimmery on.

Here's a swatch of 04. It almost seems like a glossy lipstain on, or maybe just to me..

Aside from the products highlighting their 'main color', we were also provided some contouring products. The Shading powder appeared pretty dark in the pan and we were told that for fairer models in Japan, they actually did use Shade 01.

Turns out it doesn't swatch as dark as it seems to be and with a light hand the contour effect would be quite natural. It's more ideal on warmer skintones because it carries a warm undertone.

The other contour product we received was a nose contour, and it is reminiscent of the Cezanne nose contour product (that Sophia had gifted me a long while back).

Except shade-wise it's warmer and I prefer how there is more product for the contouring portion.

After covering blush, lip products and also contouring, we were introduced to a face product, the Marshmellow Finish Powder.

The name itself is adorable and I must say the same for the casing of the powder.

I have not tried this powder out but upon swatching it it seems to be slightly light on my skintone. While it's fairly translucent on, it still leaves a soft white cast. Maybe it will be all better after blending out, and maybe my hands are darker then my face?

Will have to try to know!

And last but not least we were also provided with the Agebuto Mascara.

As you know I can be quite horrible when it comes to reviewing mascaras as I try not to have too many open at the same time due to shelf-life etc. But I have heard some positive reviews about this and will be looking to try it. I can sense that my current Majolica Majorca Frame Plus mascara might be reaching it's end, perhaps this is next in queue.

Those who have used it, would this hold up for a good everyday mascara?

And that is all! Well, wasn't that quite a bit to go through. After some thought I believe I'll be doing dedicated review entries for
• Marshmellow Finish Powder
• Agebuto Mascara

And perhaps a feature/mention in LOTD posts for the
• Powder blush
• Cream blush

And I'm undecided on the lipgloss. Should I pull a DHC and do lip swatches for all 4 shades? No harm in that I presume.

Thanks for reading!

Application/Review: Canmake 5 Effects Cream Foundation

By icyabstract · June 1, 2011 · 4 Comments ·

Hello everyone! It's been a couple of days since my last post as I had been busy running around and all - apologies for that! These days it seems it's a lot easier for me to blog on weekdays, leaving weekends for running errands, being out the entire day and crashing on the bed once home.

Anyway, that aside back to this post.

When I mentioned the Canmake 5 Effects Cream Foundation in an earlier post, some of you were rather interested in it. Therefore in this post I will be sharing my thoughts about it along with photos.

"With just one layer, you can complete all steps in your base make-up!
A foundation that combines beauty essence, sunscreen, make-up base, foundation and finishing powder"

- Canmake website: http://www.canmake.com/en/ebase/item_base027.html

According to Canmake, this foundation is named 5 Effects due to it's ability of providing 5 different effects upon usage. The 5 different effects would be:

  1. Contains six types of beautifying and moisturizing agents.
  2. Contains UV Filters to reduce exposure to UV radiation.
  3. Contains two to three times the amount of moisturizing agents to keep skin hydrated.
  4. Is able to cover pores and color irregularities
  5. Leaves the skin silky smooth with it's powder-y finish

Basic product information aside, this is a cream foundation that seems to settle to a powdery finish, much like Effect no. 5. The product itself feels very smooth and glides on the fingers and face easily. Blending isn't an issue either and I feel I can almost take my time with it.

The product comes with a sponge but I've tried applying it with a sponge once and I still prefer using my fingers. If you're using this for yourself it's much easier to run your finger over the product and blend it in.

The color I have (03 Natural Ochre) matches my skintone perfectly and it so happens to be the darkest shade that is available. The lighter two are 01 Beige Ochre and 02 Light Ochre.

For reference I am a MAC NC25-30, Za 22.

Upon blending it in, it feels relatively smooth on and you can choose not to set it if you like but I personally set everything that is cream.

(click to enlarge to see it better!)

I would rate the coverage of this foundation about a medium and it's great for evening out the skintone. I do also want to add that the picture above was taken when I had relative 'calm' skin. I find that while this conceals some light scars/spots, you will still have to run through with a concealer for a perfect finish, especially for spots that are even the slightest bit more 'dimensional' (for lack of better word...).

Now, if uneven skin surfaces or pores is your issue then I would actually suggest that you stay awake from this foundation. While it claims to smooth out pores, I don't particularly see that.

Since the product is quite thin in texture it doesn't do anything to smooth out pores, in fact it might even emphasize on it a little more. Though if you really want to try/use it, one way to combat this is to use a smoothing primer - my favorite for this would be L'oreal's Magic Perfecting Base.

Here's a close-up of the foundation on (without a primer).

Around my nose area you can see the pores and uneven skin texture showing through (click to enlarge if it helps!)

Now, about how this product wears, oil control and all.

The oil control for it is alright, holds up for about 3 hours in a humid environment (the crazy weather lately) before I have to blot. The foundaion isn't exactly long-wearing and stays on for a good 6 hours before it does wear off a little. The skin-tone is still kept even however any spots or scars that that foundation was concealing will start to show through.

In conclusion
This product swatches and feels like the Maquillage stick foundation in a pan form as it is very smooth and glides on, though coverage, oil control and everything else differs. It's easy and quick to apply if you're heading somewhere fast but I would not recommend this to those looking for more coverage and skin-smoothing qualities in their foundation. For those with great skin and are looking for something light-weight to smooth their skintone out, you can look into this.

Goodies: Canmake 'thank you' pack

By icyabstract · February 2, 2011 · 16 Comments ·

Hello all, awhile back I met up with the lovely people at Teeni Enterprise (distributor for Canmake) for lunch. They came to know about me from my past youtube video reviews concerning Canmake products (Lash Essence, Lip Concealer amongst others).

It was an easy-going and friendly meet-up where they presented me with a pack of their products, as a thank you for previous mentions. The video reviews and past mentions were purely requests from viewers and me sharing my ideals, I didn't think that it would garner the interest of the distributors themselves. Mini revelation but social media has really closed the bridge between consumers and companies/distributors.

Back to the goodie pack!

First off, something pretty interesting that isn't in stores (in Singapore) just yet. It isn't under the brand Canmake.

EZEE Power Twist Mascara (360 degrees Rotating)

It's of similar technology to the famous oscillating mascaras produced by L'oreal and Lancome but this is slightly varied. Instead of the brush vibrating from side to site, it actually rotates.

I haven't opened it just yet so I can't comment on how it looks/works, I have to finish up a few mascaras before I can justify opening another.

Now on to the stuff contained within the ziploc pack case which actually has this printed on the back.

Majority of the items included are brow stuff, their brow powder palettes and the newly released brow gels.

Canmake Mix Eyebrow in 02 & 01

I'm not a huge fan of brow powders because my brows are sparse and using powder alone wouldn't be enough to fill them up, especially the outer areas where I literally have to draw on a brow. Though I guess these would be good on days where I'm going nearby and want some natural brows without drawing on too much.

With most brow palette products consisting of powder and wax, having 3 powder shades might be confusing but they have a chart on the back to guide you on the individual shade's usage. Though I'm positive with (1) and (2) they mean the eyebrow and not the top/bottom portions.

On the contrary, the newly released brow gel is something I am pretty excited about. They come in the following 2 shades.

Canmake Coloring Eyebrow in 05 & 03 - (S$13.90)

Here is how the wand looks like followed by a swatch of both shades.

With my current hair color, I'm using the shade 05. What I do first is fill brows in (or draw them on) with K-Palette's Eyebrow liner and then go over it with this to gel everything in place and tint my brows. I've used it once thus far and I'm liking it, sort of reminds me of the Maquillage brow gel.

It's also pretty cool that I got various shades of brow stuff. Now I don't have to worry about getting another shade when I color my hair.

The next couple of items are cheek/face stuff!

Canmake Cream Cheek in 07 & Cream Highlighter (01) - (S$17.90)

The Canmake cream blushes have received a lot of love since their first release awhile back but I have never swatched them, until now that is. As seen in the picture, the cream highlighter is a new addition to their cream cheek range. Upon swatching these, I was quite surprised at their texture. It felt very smooth and my fingers glided over and picked up the product easily without feeling tacky or greasy, no exaggeration.

I swatched on the highlighter right away as I was pretty excited to try it out, here's how it looks:

Not sure if the highlighting effect is evident as I was afraid to go overboard with it but in person I like the soft glow it gives, it's different from that of a powdered highlighter.

Lastly, the bejewelled case you see in the first photo is a foundation.

Canmake 5 Effects Foundation in 03 - Natural Ochre

This is a cream-to-powder foundation and due to my long absence from makeup stands in Watsons I'm not sure if this has been out for awhile/is not out etc, someone enlighten me! Based on looking at the pan, I assumed the foundation was a tad dark for me but upon swatching it on my face, it actually isn't that dark and seems to fit my skintone.

Will explain that all better when I showcase and review the foundation at a later date.

So that's the Canmake goodies I have received, can't wait to try them all out, especially the foundation.

Side-note, but I've heard the Crack-lac polishes are all sold out. I'm not sure if they will be re-released as it was said to be a one-time special edition thing but I hope that they will launch it here again! I really liked the look of the blue polish.

Thanks for reading!

Texture: 5/5 (the texture is the main reason why I LOVE this product)
Packaging: 3.5/5 (because some of the tubes might get 'jammed' and can't be turned back down with the dial, you'll have to push it in)

Would I re-purchase this? Definitely.
