I'm certain many are no strangers to Lancôme's Génifique Youth Activator, be it if you have seen it around, personally swear by it or have relatives / friends who have recommended it to you.

Since its launch in 2009, Génifique has received 130 awards worldwide and millions of bottles have been snatched up.

While Génifique probably needs no introduction, I will go ahead and throw in some science behind its formulation anyway, for those interested to know.

Hello, here's a quick entry!

I came across this promotion and figured I would share! Especially for SK-II's Facial Treatment Essence lovers out there.

If you love and use FTE, you may want to stock up on the 215ml bottle.

Currently the counter at TANGS is giving away a rather dandy 'travel' set with every purchase of the 215ml Facial Treatment Essence.

Within the set, you will receive the:

There isn't an indication of size but my guess is that they are about 30-40ml.

Aloha people!

I cannot tell you how much I am looking forward to this weekend and I feel almost recharged and 'alive' already though it's only the wee hours of Saturday.

I wrapped my work week up by dropping by the Make Your Own Havaianas event where we got to celebrate Havaianas turning 50! I don't want to be ignorant here but I honestly had no clue Havaianas had been around for this long.

However, this post isn't to share about the event.

I may be recharged but I am not that productive just yet. Instead, I am going to share a brief snippet of this Make Your Own Havaianas deal.

Established in 1996, Lemongrass House is best known for their products being freshly handmade with natural ingredients. The entire brand image from logo to packaging and even store display gives off an earthy vibe.

The folks at Lemongrass House were also lovely enough to provide me some products I could shower my mom with (or rather my mom could shower with).

The store itself carries a nice range of products for each scent from shampoo to shower gel, bar soap and more.

Rose Absolute Shower Gel

Lemongrass House keeps their products paraben-free, sulphate free and it is not tested on animals.

Aside from shower goodies, they carry moisturizing products such as body creams as well.

Rose Absolute Hydrating Body Cream

The last product is one I was pretty excited about and while I gave all the products to my mom, this was the one product she returned to me saying I could use instead as she has no use for it. She probably has a use for it but oh well... thanks mom.

Rose Absolute Aromatic Room & Pillow Spray

I was crazed about this as (my mom &) I love the Rose scent and while I have my room scented with some Rose scent pack, it would be cool to have my pillow scented as well. In this scenario opting for the Lavender scent would make more sense, but I love Rose and that is probably soothing enough for me.

I can't speak for the other scents but I do love the smell of Lemongrass House's rose scent in their products. It's a consistent smell across all the products and doesn't go 'off' in any of them. The scent is although quite strong and noticeable, gives a light and airy feel but still packs a rose punch. It starts off a sweeter scent and gets softer with hints of floral, a very soothing scent indeed.

I do not know the price for the above products (sadly), I didn't manage to drop by the store and was not given a price-list but based on Kas (cocomotion's) previous post mentioning Lemongrass House, the smaller (100ml) shampoo bottles are about S$9 and the larger ones (260ml) are about S$18. So that should give you a gauge about how their prices run - thanks Kas!

Lemongrass House stocks interesting scents like Thai Lemongrass, Cool Mint and Mandarin though the 25% promotion mentioned above is only valid for Lavender, Blue Chamomile, Rose and Ylang Ylang.

I was informed of this program by mail and I thought it was something really interesting and something you guys might be interested in.
Just a quick word though, this is open to those residing in Singapore only, not my choice! I'm just spreading the word, I don't set the rules.
I am sure most of you are familiar with the brand I Nuovi right now with the reviews, sales information and all that so I shan't go into detail about explaining the brand.

Now I am sure you want to hear the details.
Here is a poster with the information on it but I feel the poster might not be indepth enough. Because I was a little unsure of the program when reading it the first time around. It's not complicated, but it was just not too clear on what the requirements of the program are. However, I did discuss it with Deborah (of I Nuovi) via mail to clear any doubts I had, so I will provide an explanation of the event for those unsure after reading the poster.

The program:
Simply sign up for the program by filling up the form in the format stated in the poster (where to mail to is also listed in the poster). Within 1 working day, they will let you know if you have been chosen for the program.
If you have been chosen for the program, you will receive a S$40 I Nuovi voucher and also a complimentary brow trim card (which is something you don't have to do, but it would be better if you do). What would be required of you is to visit 2 of their outlets as listed in the options (in poster). Either A or B only. After spending your gift voucher and having your brows attended too, all that's left is to feedback to I Nuovi (via e-mail I suppose, they will elaborate further if you're chosen) about the services. You do not have to blog about it if you do not wish to. From what I gather, you might also stand a chance to win another S$40 Voucher on top of what you have been offered in the program if you submit your reviews before 20th November 2009.

So that is all I know from my end. I am not in this program nor am I working for I Nuovi.
I just get sent these mailers and if I think it's something interesting that you guys might like, I'll be sure to let you all know about it!
