Yet another quick haul entry.
In this post I would be featuring a product that I had purchased from Sasa, which is a beauty store.
Before I talk about the product, let me rant a little by saying that I hardly ever go to Sasa to get anything. Reason being, I don't really like the way the staff there cling on to you and seem overly anxious to educate you or rather brainwash you into thinking you need a certain product. I have no idea how many times I had to say "It's alright, I'll look around on my own" just to get away from one of them, only to unsuccessfully run into another. Even so, they would still surreptitiously eye you from behind shelves and such. So, bottom-line. I don't shop at Sasa and the reason why this was an exception is because I had a gift voucher which was about to expire in a day, so I guess I didn't have a choice.
The funny thing is I've had this voucher for almost a year, and yes it did take me about a year to finally decide to go in there and get something. How sad.
The thing that I had purchased was really unoriginal.
Blush!
I could have gotten so many things, but I guess I just didn't want to bother with it, plus I'm not a huge junkie on experimenting with Japanese makeup brands like BB Creams etc, so I skipped out on those.
Instead, I purchased a mock-MAC brand called Make Up Shop.
I say mock-MAC because if you were to check out their products in-store you would agree with what I say when it comes to packaging and naming their products.
Nonetheless, that wasn't what spurred me to get it.
Of course it's not a surprise it's a blush. If I had to get anything on a whim, it'll definitely be a cheek product.

Here's a swatch of it.
The blush itself is honestly quite pigmented but since the color itself is a fairly light/natural shade, you wouldn't be able to see it contrasting with my skintone. I know it's a little different for me to pick up a blush as subtle as such but I figured it's nice to get a subtle blush every once in awhile. After all I don't always want to fuss with buffing my blush in when I'm rushing for school.
So I swatched it on the apples of my cheeks and here's how it applies:
(note that it's a very natural/subtle shade so depending on your computer/laptop's graphic card it might not seem like I even have blush on for some of you guys.)
I can definitely see myself subtituting this into a quick everyday makeup routine.
But this still doesn't change my mind about Sasa. I guess I'll only shop there when I get vouchers, haha!
Thanks for reading! <3
