I mentioned earlier that I would try this polish out at a much much later date (after swatching others from my polish haul first), however I caved in and painted this on in the end. Sophia (retailtherapy) had also suggested I try this color out next in my earlier nail post.

China Glaze Nail Polish in Secret Periwinkle
Aside from just painting it on, I got a little random and doodled some nail art with my Etude House Nail Pen. The nail art design was pretty random... I had no idea in mind what to do and ended up with some doodles.
It's not exactly neat and crisp at the edges but oh well, I'll live with this!
I like how the black and blue-ish purple look together, almost seems Alice in Wonderland-ish to me, for some reason...

Now about the polish.
While I love the color I didn't love the consistency as much as the rest of the China Glaze polishes (from the Up & Away collection) I had swatched. This one seemed to be thinner and what you see above is a result of 2 1/2 - 3 coats. The glossiness of this polish seems to fade a little faster. You know how some polishes get scratch marks easier then others, this is one of the ones that get it easier. That doesn't effect the durability though. I've had it on for almost a week and it hasn't chipped off at the edges.
The next 'what I have on my nails' type post would actually be a swatch of the mini Maquillage polishes I had received. Since I got 5 bottles, I have in mind to swatch a color on each nail and go about for a week with multi-colored nails. Wouldn't that be fun?
Thanks for reading!
