Okay loves I know I haven't posted my insanely belated Look of The Day from my John Little Haul yet, but please do bear with me.
I've been caught up like nuts trying to manage my life especially since now my sleep hours and whatnots are a little screwed up.
My sleep habits used to something like this:
Bedtime = 3 or 4 am
'Up time' = 10 or 11 am

However, right now I have to be in bed before 1 am and be up at 8 am. Goshhh, it's so hard especially since I have like insomnia or something.
Sleeping at 1 am is virtually impossible without tossing around in bed for a while.
Either which, what I want to say in this article is that I'm pretty happy with my internship thus far. It sure is an experience and I'd have to say I'm really lucky to be interning at a place where everyone's so nice to each other. On top of that, the bosses are just friendly and such. It almost feels like everyone is friends instead of the whole office-vibe.

Either which, I'll be a little inactive on here and on my youtube from now till 27th March (that's when my intern ends)

Another quick update for now as I know that I probably would be insanely caught up in the following weeks that I would not be able to update on here as reguarly, aside from posting Look Of the Days (if there was enough time to camwhore in the morning, that is).
Either which, the reason for that is because I would be starting my internship on the 12th of January and that's a pretty big thing to me.
Working in the undustry is pretty scary and at the same time unpredictable because even though I have had a job before, it wasn't one in this profession and from the sounds of it (from my lecturers), designers don't get sleep as often as regular human beings.

*shudders*

Anyway, that's basically what I wanted to talk about and to explain why I might seem inactive for the next few weeks or months.
But till then I'll most probably try to film as many videos as I can and upload them over a period of time so it seems like I haven't completely vanished from this whole makeup thing (:

Okay so if you've been stalking me on facebook, you would have known or seen this by now, but if you haven't here it is!
Remember when I said I wanted to color my hair reddish in January and how I made the little mock-up of me with red hair on photoshop?
Well, forget about all that because I have already gone out and colored my hair an auburn shade about 2 or 3 days ago. The backstory behind that would be...

I had initially wanted more of a copper-red color since it seemed more vibrant and striking. However, at the salon, the stylist said that because my hair already has some golden tones to it, a copper-red would make my hair seem straw-like and gross so I passed on that and she recommended I color my hair Auburn instead. And for those who don't know auburn is basically a brown-red color, as opposed to the gold-red that copper red was.
So after coloring my hair, I cam-whored a little and this is the result:

P.S. I know my expression is fairly candid and that it is because cam-whoring in public, in the middle of a carpark is just fairly stressful. Lol!

I know I have been gone for awhile, but things have been fairly crazy over the past week. What with the whole end of term projects, christmas gatherings and all, hectic was most definitely an understatement.
However, school's finally out and although Christmas is over, it certainly was tons of fun and very rewarding - in a sense.
This haul is definitely somewhat related to the statement I had mentioned above, as my relatives had given me some advanced Christmas cash (or so they call it since they don't ever know what to get me).
The result of that is some maaaajor drugstore hauling since MAC does not seem to interest me all that much right now.

So I've been thinking... are my haul entries boring? Because if they are I can stop doing them.
The reason i do these would be for those who don't watch my youtube, or if they do, they get to see the product clearly instead of only for a split second.

Sephora's in Singapore and it's finally open!
I know most people already know about this since when I went yesterday (which was the grand opening day or whatever it was packed as hell)

I went over at about 8pm or so because I never really intended to go down specifically to check out Sephora but since I was over at a mall near by catching a movie, I thought might as well head down to check it out. So, like I said it was freaking packed and being one who's not big about crowds I was quite iffy about even going into the store but I did anyway since I wanted to check out the selection.

Can I say DISAPPOINTMENT.

Honestly. I was scouting around the store for Urban Decay and NARS solely and I saw nothing of that sort. I went to ask the sales personal and she said they didn't carry it.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
This is Sephora and they don't carry Urban Decay and NARS.
~sigh.
Well, for consolation, they do have Too Faced but still, I was rather disappointed.
And speaking of Too Faced, by the time I had gotten there (which again was pretty darn late), all of the Too Faced Shadow Insurance had been sold out.
Talk about on demand...

Either which, I'm just a little disappointed at what Sephora has to offer right now.
I'll most probably get over it in due time and learn to accept that fact, but for now I would still be shopping at MAC and drugstores.
(Also because I honestly can't deal shopping with crowds)

I'm back people!
I wish I could say that I'll be able to update insanely often from now on but sadly, I can't promise you guys that just yet as I'm not quite done with my final projects/presentations.

Anyway, I wanted to drop by to say really quickly that I really do apologize for not having update this as often over the past week because school's being really hard on me as it's the end of the term and all. On top of that, we've got t scout for interviews and internships and honestly, being in the whole 'professional field' thing is pretty taunting.
Aside from school, my parents had actually gone for a trip over the week and sadly I was unable to go with them because of school and all thus I was left home alone... for 5 days!
But being me, I absolutely can't stand being alone in an empty house for 5 days straight, I went over to stay at my boyfriend's place and had conveniently forgotten to take my laptop since it was a rushed packing session.
I didn't have the house keys you see, and thus I was left without my beloved macintosh for 5 days and boy am I glad to get it back today :D

Nuff said, that's pretty much what has been going on,
And on a more makeup related term, here's what I wore to my interview.
It's basically an extremely natural look in my terms. A little too natural for my liking, but what can I say, first impressions are oh-so-important.

I can't quite remember what I had used since it was like 7 in the morning when I was getting ready, but here's what I think I used:

I don't know how many of you have noticed, but there's a new little side-bar addition and it's called "Twitter".
Basically what that is, for those of you who do not know what twitter is, is that it's a little update thing where I would just log on and type what I am possibly doing at that moment in time and I feel that it's a lot easier for you to sort of be updated by what I am doing without me having to constantly post a full-length entry and what nots.

Another awesome function of twitter is that you can go on there and create your own account and we can exchange comments/reply each other etc. It's kind of like msn, except you don't get notified when you receive a reply.
And since I hardly am on msn, this is another way that you guys can communicate with me, except I'm not really going to treat twitter solely as a messenger device but more of an update device so I will reply your comments and all but please do not ask makeup related questions (unless it's a reply to a twitter I made) on there, instead try asking on my tagboard or my e-mail.
And most important, no requests on twitter please! Unless of course (again) it's related to something I twittered.
I'm not being mean or anything but having too many request sources kind of messes my brain up a little and I'd tend to forget to record requests down and whatnots since I'm such a scatter brain.

Anyway, twitter aside, I know I haven't blogged and I haven't uploaded a video in a insanely long time but please forgive me for that. I've been pretty busy interview-hunting to look for a prime company to intern at and the final term projects are constantly piling up so I'm not going to be able to update as frequently as I used to in terms of videos and blogging (hence twitter!).

It's been awhile and I'm so sorry about not having updated for... 6 or so days?
Yeah, it's been about there. And again, I apologise for not updating as regularly in this period of time as my finals are approaching and the lecturers are starting to be a pain.
I've got a presentation due this Friday and a mock up due tomorrow and those were really the reasons why I haven't updated in awhile.

Sad to say, it's going to be awhile before I do a proper makeup update regarding my hauls and such because I've got yet another presentation on Monday and... let's just say things at school are getting out of hand.

On a lighter note, I've decided to add categories to the entries so as to facilitate with reading and sorting stuff out.
My general categories would be:
Misc - where I throw random miscellaneous entries on either new products that I want to get or just random tags.
Updates - these would be updates on my life, and more on a blog-basis rather then being totally related to makeup, as this entry is.
Hauls - needless to say, the name says it all.
Reviews - reviews on certain products be it in a link to a video or photos, etc
Tutorials - Tutorials of looks or any sort of tutorial videos be it how to use brushes etc that are mentioned in a single entry would fall in this category too.
LOTD - This would be for my Look of the Days.

So that's basically what I have in mind now and I would most definitely cross post at times.
With that said, I'll have to say goodbye for now and maybe I'll upload another entry tonight, but I'm definitely going to try to get some videos up!

Boy don't I have some exciting news for you guys, especially you youtubers that have ventured over to my blog for updates.
I'll be able to post up videos very very soon because I'll be heading over to Funan aka the mall to pick up my macbook pro later today!
And by later today, I mean in about 3 hours time as it's about 3.08PM now and my mac is due at 7pm.
Can't wait!
And another piece of exciting news would be that I did not have to pay a single cent for the repair of my macbook pro,
and incase you guys are wondering I thought you were going to get a new macbook?
Well yes that was the initial plan but after my dad decided that that move was not necessary, we went ahead with the repair of my macbook pro, and my dad decided to call up the Apple control and ask about my macbook pro and whether the device that had screwed up (the motherboard/logic board) had a probable chance of defecting in the near future.
And I guess logic boards don't just destroy themselves because of consumer's usage, they decided it could be a defect that had shown itself a little after my warranty period, so that's kind of why I didn't have to pay for the repair fees. Neither did I have to pay for "consultation" fees as I sent my laptop in during the period that they were having some sort of a free consultation promotion due to the fact that they had recently opened a new branch or so. Lucky me huhs.

Anyway, enough about my mac(intosh),
this haul is from Day 2 of shopping at the new mall in my district.
My oh my, it's a quite a bit of makeup here...
I might need shopping therapy or something.

apparently it's Saturday and all the technicians are not around so the only available time in which I would be able to get my mac back would be either Monday or Tuesday. And also, I probably would not be purchasing a new mac since my dad felt it really wasn't necessary.
It's back to the good ole mac for me, not that I really mind it. I guess you could say I have sort of an emotional attachment to it (:

And incase you're wondering about that little jewel I have atop of my head, it's actually a jewel pendant thing that MAC is giving away with every purchase right now. It's supposedly in sync with the whole Holiday Collection theme. I thought it was cute but didn't really know what it could be used for since a choker made it look kind of odd, I decided to throw in on as a head-band thing and see how it worked. Its kind of cute really, to me at least.

Also you would be surprised to know that I did not use any black for this look at all.

It's just a perfect bronzer with a hint of luminance to it, isn't it just gorgeous. I was actually having a hard time deciding between this and Love Joy, another gorgeous amber-toned Mineralized Blush however the unique-ness of Love Joy won my vote in the end.
So the next time I get my allowance, I'm going to get myself a pretty bronzer (:
If they still do have stock of it, that is.
